Another Great trip to a undisclosed Hotspot! Can't wait to get back again soon for more big fish, crazy weather and having your A game present when attempting these monsters.
Cold mornings but big fish on the bite!
My biggest heartbreak ever....No lie the fish "orca" I lost was estimated at 32-34", 17-20lbs and pretty much a match to the fish "steelhead" above!!!! This was estimated by 1 guy who lost her in 3 seconds the day before, another group I fished with who never had a shot and by my buddy Mark who got to me 3 seconds after she was at my net and spit the hook.
My big net was actually too small even to land her. Nothing like trying to land a fish of a lifetime going solo with the net....ughhhhh
Winds blowing 40mph the 1st day and Mark with a nice fish on...one of many that got the best of us.
A sweet fish taken on a #22 rojo, nothing like warmer temps after getting there at 6am 13' temp out to make this worth it!
Plenty of excellent scenery here!
The colors on these fish are some of the most colored anywhere! No photoshop on this one, it's true beauty from this handsome Rainbow!
Another perfect day at sunrise!
Plenty of browns taken each day in between stalking monster bows! Averaged 20 browns one day.
Finally on my last day pure sunshine! A much needed break from the 13'-30' temps I encountered during this trip!
